I did some research about what is best to feed my four young ryukin. I wanted to know what would be best for them while also finding a diet to help them grow large. Well, my very picky little pets won't touch vegetables. No peas, cucumbers, or zucchini for them. I'm pretty sure that feeding them only pellets is not ideal for them and is the cause of their stringy poops. I intermittently feed them freeze-dried brine shrimp, but the bottle says it's only a small snack. If anyone has any advice I'd be thrilled.

have tired anyfruit or cutting it up in smaller piece (mouth size)? and you must par-boil the veggies so its soften for the fish...my goldfish sometimes eats algae flakes .. i didn't give it to them on purpose but they are stealing the food from my bristlenose !

can u tell me wat a ryukin is please. knowing my luck they are proberly some sort of goldfish and i should no lol

a ryukin is a fancy tailed goldie with a hump in their back here is a photo of my ryukin akira
side note: this photo was taken before i was treating him/her for parasites that is why it's fins are clamped, in this photo you can clearly see the hump
