just wondering how often to feed pond fish, as i love to look at them for ages wen im feeding them i feed them 2 times a day, sometimes 3 times a day, my hubby recons i feed them to much, is he right or is it ok to do that. there are 20 goldies in there.

that im not sure how many litres it is,i have to ask hubby, i will post some pics up wen he takes them, i guess it would b bout 120-150 litres, the fish seem to love it even though it has algae all round the liner.they are growing and are never sick.must be hardy fish lol

sorry ive just realised that u live overseas, i dont no how many gallons it is as we have litres,i have to ask me hubby that one he may no.by the way wat time is it there?

right now, it's 8:22 pm here (or atleast where i live it is) LOL.

i usually feed my fish 2 times a day. but sometimes i get the feeding urge and feed them peas for their 3rd meal for that day. but 3 feedings are rare

120-150 liters is about 32-40 US gals. you sure it' not bigger, because that pond is too small to house 20 goldfish do you have single tails or double tails in there?

oh dear now ya got me worried lol, buggar i hope it is bigger then.hubby at work wen he gets home i will ask him and let you no.,its 12.46 in the arvy here, but i swear they really do love it, they been in there bout 8 months or so, there are 2 black mollies i call them goggle eyes lol, 4 or so fantails,and the rest just ordinary goldfish, they have heaps of room but they seem to all stay together down the end where the fountain is, hardly ever go to the other end.they all stick to together, quiet funny really wen ya watching them. i will put pics up soon

if your little ones are small, they might be okay for a while in there, but you might need to make some plans for an upgrade just remember, the common goldies need 20 gal each and the fantails need 10 gals each

oh dear i didnt realize they needed that much water, ive only just discovered the site and im learning real quick, wen we first thinking of the pond we thought did a hole well its sorta curved, put liner in it cement some rocks on the side and around it. put some plants around it and presto we have a pond, but they are truely happy and grow ok and some are big some medium but none little.hmm now ya got my thinking that ive over populated it lol.they have been in ther 8 months.better talk to hubby bout extending it i think. i will put pics up tonight, do i put them on here or somewhere else. im really new to this site, thanks for all ya help. i appreciate it very much

that's alright, i started out with 30+ fish in a 30 gal. everyone has to have a start. dont feel bad, you'll make a great fishy mommy

heck you sound like u no a bit bout goldfish,being 14 thats pretty good .good for u.well i guess we will have to extend the pond or put in another lol.i let yas no how that goes
