Click to view attachment here she is finally! She is a bing cherry color and very hard to get a clear photo of. She is my fourth betta and seems to be hardier than the others I had. Her name is Matilda.

Matilda is beautiful . Actually I have never seen that dark cherry color all over. Really nice! Is she the Queen of the tank?

Her Majesty has her own 2.5 gal. tank. I could put her in an extra 10g I have lying around, then I could get her some "Ladies in Waiting" to do her bidding. and maybe someday.....a handsome prince
She had a handsome prince (Mr. Jones) but he passed away unexpectedly. Her Fairy Godmother will pick her a nice one someday.

actually....Her Fairy Godmother would like to find her a boy with similar coloring. I really like her color she does look blue in the right light though. She has that cherry look with blue iridescence that is hard to see.

ah wow she is beautiful! You should put her in a 10g. she would be very happy with all the free space. I really love her color. I hope she finds her prince soon, and ireally hope her "godmother" would post a picture of her prince lol

Why I named her Matilda: I saw a betta breeding video and when the male is done embracing the female, she is all bent up in the shape of a "tilde" which is the character on the key above the tab key on your computer. Matilda was just a short stretch from there. I just call her 'tilda.
