I was asking in my last betta post if 10gs was too big for a betta and some one nicely pointed out that I needed to put some more plants and stuff in his tank. So I did and then I made a video clip. What do y'all think? Does it need anything else? Hopefully this will make up for who ever left him in the wally-world parking lot.

Here's the before pic

And here's the after Video:

Thanks! He's in my daughter's room and she loves him. Every time we walk in there she points to the tank and says "dats MY ishy!!!" like 30 times and since I put him in there she's got to kiss the tank and tell him "Ni-ni Wawa!" before every nap and bed time. LOL Yup those are my genes hard at work there. rolleyes.gif

Can I do it tomorrow? I have to go pull it out of one of the sheds and that one doesn't have a light. I nearly broke my neck just getting to it in day light!
Lolafish
I have fish junk I am trying to sell...and no bites whatsoever. hah.gif I guess I am the only crazy one out there spending $100's on stuff I don't need...and then realizing it AFTER the fact.

Olivia, you made Heaven for that fish! Great job! clapping.gif

I know how it goes! You see some thing and you think "man I need that" but then it turns out you don't so it gets put in a box with all your other fish crap that you thought you needed. My hubby gets mad and rants about it every so often. "Why can't you just throw this crap away!? It's not like you're using it!!!" "But I never know when I might need it and I wouldn't want to have to buy all new stuff!"

I've got a 10g tank that's older than me! I've re-sealed it 4 times. It used to be my mom's when she was a teen. It's so beat up and ugly looking I'd be ashamed to ever display it anywhere but it still comes in handy when I run out of space to QT incoming rescues. I know that the day I start throwing stuff out is the day I'll start needing it all.

That's exactly how it goes!!

As soon as I get rid of something, like a month later I need it, then I'm SOL!

I do this with silk plants!! Whenever I see one I like, I snatch it up and put it in my big bucket. I get bored with how a tank looks, and rearrange it every couple weeks or so. Especially the gf tank. And here I thought I was the only one that stockpiled fish stuff.... rolleyes.gif rofl3.gif

Olivia, the tank looks fantastic!! biggrin.gif He looks so happy in his home now!
