The white dots on Keebo have probably doubled in number now, someone help me please!!!! I've never had to deal with ich before, Im scared to hurt him by raising the salt anymore, I need someones opinion on that, should I risk it or not? Im doing a 100% waterchange daily now and adding prime. Im also treating with melafix still

I would up the salt and heat if you have a heater. Salt and heat will kill the ich.

that should help. I just answered your other similar post. He should start improving shortly. leave the light on at night for him as well to keep his tank at a constant heat .

salt is at 0.2% and I left the light on all night, should I raise it to 0.3%, at first the white dots were mostly on his fins and just a few on his body, this morning he also had about 200 white dots on his body

i would slowly raie the salt . I would keep the light on to increase the temp. It would be better if he was in tank that could be heated and then you could get the temp up to 82 degrees. It makes the life cycle of the ich shorter. It is still gonna take around 2 weeks to cure it up even with the increased salt and heat. there are meds for ich but I do not know if I would use them on a betta. I would stick with the heat and salt. Actually though if he is not improving you may want to go the round of meds. here is a thread from the IBC ( Interantional Betta Congress ) scroll down the page and you will see treatments for ich. They also recommend and increased temp

The ich is becoming free swimming now! As soon as I noticed that I changed out all the water and the water that I added back to the tank was slightly warmer than before, hopefully that will help, I dont wanna put him in any of my other tanks cause Im scared that he will infect them and most of my other fish r kinda nippy.

I think one of my new betta girls has ick, I see about 6 tiny white dots on her, and last night, I only saw one. I've had .1 salt since I got them, but I'm gonna raise it to .2, and then to .3, also I do have a heater in there. Is the salt and heat all you used for yours?

salt at the higher level you mentioned as well as the temp being raise to 80-85 degrees will work. Ich does not like heat and salt. You can also add aqrisol to the tank as well. here again is a good list for the IBC ( interantional betta congress) with betta illnesses and cures
