Hi everyone,

I bought my new little betta home Oct 3rd, and he has yet to poop. =/ I didn't think too much about it at first, because I figured maybe he was getting used to the move from the pet store to here. Then I started reading on the internet about constipation, and now Im worried.And of course stupid me, I remembered the part about the pea and not fasting...so yesterday I fed him some pea first and then realized I should have fasted him before feeding the pea.

So now he isn't going to be fed anything ..but how long should I wait? Im in college so I don't have access to a car..but Im going to try and get epsom salt as a last resort. =/ He's still very happy and active, but I would really like to save him if I can.

Is his stomach swollen or bloated at all? If not he may have pooped and you just did not see it. Their stool is itty bitty so you may have missed seeing it or it might have fallen down in the rocks. My male Halfmoon had that problem and his belly was really swollen. I fasted him for a day or two and his belly went down and he was all right after that
