I feed my neon tetras new life spectrum 1mm pellets, and they won't eat at all.
Is there any problem with the food?
Is it a good idea to feed them once a day?
Are my fish

?
Thx for the help

Never heard of those pellets.
Try some high quality flake food.
Feed your fish once or twice a day, but only as much as they'll eat in a few minutes. Remove any uneated food. If you let the uneated pellets stay in the tank it'll make your water go bad.

I have already tried using flake food, but they wouldnt eat any of that.
Sometimes they will eat a bit of frozen daphnia.
New life spectrum is a high end quality food that has tons of different types. what I use is the community slow-sinking pellets.

Also, what is the best way to remove uneaten food?
I siphon some of it out, but my tank is so small that it is quite hard to start the siphon.
and don't go telling me to get a smaller siphon, because this siphon is for tanks 2-5 gallons.

If your tank is 2-5 gallons, one of the reasons might be is that your tank is overstocked. You cannot keep Tetras in a tank that small. It is cruel, for Tetras need lots of swimming room. About the only thing I would put in that tank is a Betta. Please don't take this the wrong way, it sounds rude but trust me, those fish cannot be happy in there. My 20 gallon used to be crazy overstocked, like double the stocking level, and everyone looked so sad, but the numbers went down, so now everyone is happy. I hope this dosen't sound too rude, but I think this might help.
I agree with fishlord. If fish won't eat it is often due to the condition they are kept in rather than them not liking the food, particuarly if you have tried more than one brand.

What is a turkey baster?
Where can I get one?
are they exspensive?
and fishlord, I made this same post on another website, and I made one post, and went upstairs to see my tank and reluctantly give them a couple pellets to see if they would eat, and they were eating the decomposed pellets on the bottom like crazy!
thanx fr th help guys

Well, it is good that they are eating. Still, that tank is too small. A turkey baster is a thing that sucks up stuff by squeezing this ball shaped thingy at the end of a tube sort of thing and then releasing it. I don't think that description could have helped you very much, just not sure how to describe it. Perhaps someone could post a picture of one for you? You can get them anywhere that sells kitchen supplies, and they are generally not too high priced, though some may be a bit more, but thats just the high tech ones. I hope this helps!

Ask your mom to get you a turkey baster. She'll for sure know what one is. All moms do:) There about 1$ or so. At risk of starting an argument your fish would be a lot healthier and happier in a larger tank. At least keep watch for white spots (ich/ick), and torn fins (fin rot) using aquarium salt? It would help a lot and is a very inexpensive way to help the health of your fish.:
