Hi guys sorry I have not shared with you. I got a new betta boy about 2 weeks ago. A red halfmoon of all places my local Petco. They had delta tails there as well as halfmoons , it really suprised me. He is bright chilli pepper red so I named him Chilli- it is the first thing that popped into my head. thanks eveyone. Just two right now. I had a crowntail girl but she died of being egg bound and I had a thai female that died of tumors a while back. So just got Chilli and Sunti right now. My breeder freind would send me another if I asked him but I will settle to just two

well I am soon to get a platinum betta from one of my breeder friends. I do not know if he is sending me a boy or a girl. he was gonna cull some hm and super deltas from a spawn but he decided to sell them for $5 a piece so I am getting another cool betta soon I am gonna name Cloud

Did you lose Scarlett then?? What a shame, she was so cute. I lost my Squirrel a little while ago, too. That was very hard for me cause she was prob my favorite--such a tiny thing.

Chilli is stunning by the way--you just never know what you will find! I've seen some other than vt's and ct's at petco too but not sure what exactly they were.

Please post pic of your new girl when you get her. Not sure I've seen a platinum before, sounds neat.

Thaks Kristi for the compliments. No Scarlet is o.k. She now lives with a friend of mine. Scarlet was mean and very aggresive.She was terrorizing Pearl and the snails. What is really funny is I gave her to my freind here at work who had gotten a male from the same spawn as Scarlet from my breeder freind and she decided to put her in with him ( even though I told her not to) and they actaully get along she told me. I got her when she was young so maybe she and he were used to being together in the fry tank
