oh my what do I do?? I got my male ryunkin from a friend who ended up catching ich so Im treating the tank with salt.. the famale oranda was also in there so she's also being treated for precaution.. well this morning around 6am I hear the marbals and river rock being pushed around look in and they are spawning! Ive tried this in a tub but with no luck maybe cuz they needed more room.. I dunno.. Anyway's.. the tank is at a 0.3 already.. ich seems to be gone but still waiting a few more days.. Are these eggs going to be ok??

Eggs will be fine with the salt - but not fine with the ich. I suggest that you take out the spawning media, rinse it gently in fresh water (The eggs will stick just fine) and put it in a clean tank that is totally sterilized. Ich kills fry.

thankyou so much! One problem.. their staying away from the plants.. he's fertilizing the eggs all over the tank bottom.. should i remove those? and how?? airline tubing maybe?

Iv'e noticed her vent is very swollen.. It's sticking out real bad.. Is the normal?

Just an update.. she's still laying eggs.. prolly about 20 at a time.. I dont see him spraying the milt but the tank is already cloudy so i figure he's already done that earlier this morning when they started all this.. I turned the light back off and they are at it again.. poor girl, she's being harrassed all over the tank(LOL)..when should I do a water change??

another update.. Ive removed the white eggs.. there are plenty of clear/yellow eggs in container.. I hand spawned also she released many more and the male has tons of milt.. It seems after a few hrs the eggs either turn white(unfertilized) or look clear.. I tried to count I believe I have 30 right now.. I'll be removing eggs all day and checking for the unfertle ones..
