I got my third betta! He was in a tiny cup at the petstore and his water was filthy, and the cup was filled less than half, so I knew right away that I had to have this one. I think he's a red veiltail, but his dorsal fin looks more like that of a crowntail, could he be a mix? He loves his new tank, I named him Keebo. His tank is beside Floppy's so I had to put something between teh tanks cause they were trying to get at each other. I'll post pics this evening when I get home from school.

he was in pretty bad shape at the petstore, but he's already feeling better! He's more active, his colors are brighter, and his fins are looking better!

Hes a beautiful veiltail shamu congrats smile.gif
Shamu23
thanks smile.gif but why do u think his dorsal fin is like that of a crowntail?
Blue
Never mentioned crowntail ? Hes a veiltail and hes in same shape my Ragman was in when I first got him. The dorsal fin will heal over time smile.gif
Shamu23
ok, I hope so, his other fins arent in the greatest shape either, their kinda torn at the base, Im hoping that will heal though
Blue
They will that was why mine was called Ragman because of his condition when I got him .store let me have him or they were going to kill him. Took a long time but he didnt resemble his name 6 months on smile.gif

Shamu23
well, thats good that u rescued him! I think Keebo is glad that I rescued him too smile.gif
