I bought 2 plants last night, and I am going to disinfect them today in the bleach solution as suggested in the disinfecting thread. I also plan to QT them and then dip them again in about a week....how long after that should it be safe to put them in the main tank?
-also, when i have them in their QT, do i need to change that water every day since it won't be filtered or anything?

ok.....well, I dipped them once saturday, then again on monday....I am thinking of doing one more in a few days just to be safe...and I hope this is enough. I guess it will be safe to put them in the tank by saturday

I believe after the 2nd dip you should be fine.. JUst rinse well and let sit in fresh water for about 24hrs.. this is what i do and Iv'e had no problem with ich or other parasites..
