When I first got Stripe he was a mean vicious killer fish. Then cause he had been alone for so long I got him new buddies and he was so nice to them, didnt nip them once. Now I got him 2 new buddies, I had to put the one without the tail in a big net and the green barb is being chased like crazy. Im gonna have to get a breeding trap and tank divider asap. I cant put the green barb in the net with the albino cause then he'll bully the little albino. This is making me so mad! I really thought Stripe had changed! I guess it was just an act. I hope that the green guy will find the hiding spot soon, cause Stripe wont find him there, he's been trying to nip at the albino one but he cant!! Is there anything else I could use as a tankdivider for now?

Fish dont change their ways shamu, they run on instinct. Tiger barbs are one of the most aggressive fish out there and if you want to keep them then you will need a large shoal of about 12 to keep aggression to a minimum and change the tank decor around. Also, what size tank are they in? Even small fish need territory or they will fight.

its only a 5 gallon, and I know tigerbarbs are agressive, Stripe showed me that, but the last time he acted sssoooo nice. I know its a little overstocked with 3 fish but I do a 40-50% waterchange every week. I know they need to be in big groups but I didnt know that when I first got stripe, he used to be in a 10 gallon with 4 others, but once he killed them all I moved him into a smaller tank, I will hopefully get a breeding trap for the injured fish tomorrow, then i'll just need a tank divider, I know they wont have as much space much I think Stripe wont mind as long as he sees the other fish, that always makes him happy, it'll be kinda funny though, 2 vicious fishies trying to kill each other on opposite sides of the divider lol, the green tiger barb is also a mean bully, he was trying to kill Stripe while Stripe was trying to kill him

I got a breeding trap now, so I was able to put the weak albino barb in the tank, but the green barb who is named odyssea is gonna have to wait a little longer
