My mom and I had a deal this summer that if I kept the yard mowed and the dog poop cleaned up, then at the end of the summer I could get a new tank. Now the summer is ending and I have to go back to school next week, so I'm getting a new tank!! I found an 85 gal with stand for $130. I'm going to pick it up either Wednesday, Friday, or next weekend. I'm so excited! I'll post pics when I get it. Since I'm getting a bigger tank, that means more fish!! YAY! I have 3 now, so I can get about 3-5 more. smile.gif

I'm thinking maybe some orandas, telescopes/black moors, ranchu, some rubbernose or bristlenose plecos, whatever catches my eye really. I'm not a torpedo shaped kind of person, but I'm staying with someone right now that has a pike that they feed goldfish. They fed it yesterday and we made a deal that any that are still alive by the time I leave get to go home with me. She bought 7 and 2 are left. They better keep hiding from that sucker.

Congrats on getting a new tank Em, how's it going, haven't seen you round much recently, I kinda stopped checking PB on a regular basis. how's your pups? smile.gif

Looking forward to seeing pix of your new set-up. Have you got an idea of what type of goldies you're going to add to your finned family?

Hey Mads! I'm doing fine! I've got a new baby in my house too. My sister and her kids moved back home and she had a baby about a month ago. The rats are doing fine. I had people lined up to take everyone but only one family showed up. sad.gif So I adopted out 2, kept 2, and took the rest to a rat rescue. The girl at the rescue said that they are doing great and people have already started showing interest in them (I took them Tuesday).
