Hi I am new to this forum and would like to set up a goldfish tank soon, I would like to find out if Kuhli Loach makes good tank mates with goldfish, I am staying in Asia hence i do not think the water in my tank will get too cold and is it a good idea to use fine sand as substrate for goldfishes

Kullii Loach are warm water fish. And IF kept with goldies would surely make a snack of him!

Goldfish should be kept with gravel or bare bottomed......sand is not good as the like to poke around in the substrate!! I think gravel is much easier to keep clean!

I think GF would eat your Kuhli Loaches. I'm not sure if they would grow big enough do avoid being eaten
