I have some problem with algae and is looking to add a Siamese Algae Eater to my tank. I've got someone local selling the fish the in the picture, but to me it's a flying fox. Can you guys help me identify it? Thanks.

That looks like the true flying fox Crossocheilus siamensis, not a SAE, although people confuse them all the time! They are actually a type of barb. I think the defining feature is the black stripe that goes all the way through the tail.
