Someone contacted me about a week ago, wanting to buy them for $1 each. There's 33 guppies. So we agreed to last Friday at around noon, she even offered to do an even trade of the guppies for two kittens. I was looking at kittens to live with me when I moved out into the apartment. But, mom forced me to pass, seeing as I don't have enough money to get them spayed and vaccinated.

Anyways. Fast forward to today. The guppies are STILL HERE. They're in a 10 gallon tank on top of a rubbermaid bin by the front door. Dad's getting pissed because they're in the way. I e-mailed the lady and told her that if she didn't pick them up by the end of the week, I was giving them to the next person in line. She e-mailed back saying "Sorry, but I can only take 5-10 of them."

Uh....Roight...That'll help a lot with me for college. I was sort of relying on the $33 to help pay for some stuff, considering I am FLAT BROKE right now.

Anyways....Rant over. lol.

I hate relying on unreliable people. $1 each is a pretty fair price for guppies though, especially considering most pet stores would give you a fraction of that.

And that is responsible not to take on kittens right now until you can afford spaying/neutering and vaccinating. Caring for pets is not cheap!! I have had mine get sick and they can be so expensive to treat, so it's best to wait till you can definitely afford that! (I sympathize on being a broke student, though! I just bought books yesterday, ouch!!)
