Yeah its me
Ok, the babies are not so much babies anymore, they are still in the 10 gal. but need to be moved, they are now 1 -1.5 inches long minus the tail.
here is my problem.... I want to put the little fish in the pond, they are too big for the big fish to eat now, but there are so many other babies out there that even the tinest ones are swimming in open water ( you would NOT believe how many babies I have in the pond!!)

Should I put the babies from the tank into the pond.. would I be overstocking if I did this?
Will the little fishies help with the fry population?

The pond is balanced, it is around 700 gal. with 7 large comets w/ 1 large goldfish plus about a dozen minnows.

This will be a big thing for me because these fry hatched in my care and I cant believe that they went from these little sticks with 2 black dots to the mini fish I see now.

Thank you!! ... You are my fish gurus!!

When I move fry to a pond to grow out I do it a few at a time. The biggest and strongest fry go first to leave room and time for the smaller ones to receive closer attention.
Yeah its me
Thanks Olivia, That is what I will do then, I have 2 that are a lot smaller than the others so they will stay in the tank for awhile yet. Good news is that Wee Willie's back straightened out while in prison so he is back in GP.
