I was just wondering, what is better? Frozen or live food? Do goldfish have to have one or the other? I heard that it isnt good to feed just dry foods. What kind of frozen and/or live foods are best for goldies?

Just like people the more variety the better. Some people feed live foods without any problems but many prefer not to because there is always the danger of introducing parasites or disease. Frozen foods are so varied. Don't know what you can get where you are but check out the freezer foods next time you are in a large fish store. We can get frozen gel food (vegetable and fish mix) and all kinds of frozen shrimps and krill/worms etc. Your fish will have preferences so you can try different kinds. Algae wafers and spirulina tabs are also great for extra greens/vits if you don't have algae in the tank.
