So for now, I have to feed once per day because of Nitrate spikes when I feed twice a day.

I am feeding Pro Gold pellets every morning, except Saturdays, when they'll get their peas. Then on Sunday, they'll get their regular fast day.

Is that enough variety and nutrition until I can get their bigger tank up and cycled? (realistically, within the next couple of months or so)

My babies were really starting to get their growth on, when I was feeding a variety twice a day. Now I can't help but feel like I'll be stifling their growth.

Tell me they'll be okay until I can get them back on their regular feeding schedule???? cry3.gif

They'll be all-right for a while smile.gif And it won't stunt them. I know what you mean about the twice daily feeding bringing a growth spurt though. Hopefully you'll get the second tank cycled fast as you have media from the first tank to use.

Have you heard of the nitrazorb pillow?

Yeah had one, and it worked for a while when I first got it, but then when I noticed it wasn't working anymore, I re-charged it, but it just seems to be spent. Probably need a new one, but it seems like more trouble than it's worth (all the recharging stuff, and they are not cheap to begin with).

I still feel guilty feeding them once per day. But I'll do everything I can to speed up the cycle of the new tank. I loved seeing them grow! biggrin.gif
