Anyone know about this stuff? It says "Complete shrimp, including the shell, are an excellent source of roughage to support digestion."
They're like...1/4 inch long. So far my guppies love them, but I haven't tried them with the goldfish yet. My black moor has floaty issues with some foods, and I'm kinda worried these might trigger it.

Soak them really well and only feed a few the first time and see what happens. I grind them up for my tropical tanks to boost their protein intake a bit. I have added them to gel food for my goldies without any ill effects. But only one of my goldfish seems to have occasional problems with floating.

I have a ryukin with "floaty issues" too but he doesn't seem to have problems with the shrimp as long as their soaked and broken up into smaller parts. I've actually noticed an improvement in his over all health.

Improved health...That's a good thing

Alright. Crumbling and soaking it is then. The ones I popped in the guppy tanks floated, and whenever the young uns went for them, their movement caused the shrimp to move away

That's sorta like the reverse of bobbing for apples
