What are all the fruits and vegetables that goldfish can eat? At the moment mine get lettuce, peas, and oranges, what else can they have?

I've also tried apples and grapes (peeled) and zucchini (cooked). None of them liked apple, some liked the grapes, all loved the zucchini. I haven't tried too many fruits as I read somewhere that goldfish have trouble digesting the sugar in fruit, I don't know if that is true or not but I didn't want to risk it.

If you do a search, there is a post that has a list of the fruits & veges that goldfish eat, I think there is also a link to it from Koko's Goldfish World main page. From memory, on that page, it seemed like people had tried to feed almost every fruit & vege to their goldfish at some stage.

don't ever feed grapes i asked that apparently there is a chemical in them which the goldies can not digest and can poison them as they can not get it out of their system

If it's fresh or frozen fruits or veggies that I eat I will share it with my goldies.

I haven't heard that about grapes & I'm pretty sure I have shared some with them.

(I don't give them canned...too much salt....but I eat it...what's that tell ya"?)
