I'm wondering if I could coat an ornament with something to make sure it's safe to use in my tank, like aquarium sealant maybe? The dollar store near me has these great vases that look like they came from ship wrecks, and they're only a dollar! The problem is they're painted and I'm afraid it might be toxic. Any suggestions?
