The pond is a bit over 1,000 gallons by our estimation.

I'm glad everyone likes the pond. It's a lot of work but I just love going out there and sitting watching the fish and 4 frogs.

Looking good , I especially like the pic of the huge red cap on that oranda. It looks like they are getting plenty of live food and sunlight. Wish I could say the same for my goldies , but a goldie only pond is not in the works.
And I know what you mean when you say it is work. But it is SO REWARDING!!!

I usually have something to do in that pond every night after work but I just love it. My plants are doing really well this year too so that makes it much nicer as well.

What a beautiful pond you have, Debi! and will you look at that umbrella plant - you'll turn around in a month, and it will be 6 ft tall. That is what always happens to mine - I bought a small dwarf variety, and it keeps growing and multiplying, and growing some more. Dwarf, yeah right!

Thanks!! I can't belive how fast those umbrella palms grow. I have a problem with them in the winter because I have to keep them up in the house. They don't like the grow lights in the basement.

I'll ask Gimli if he'll pose to the side for me. He is the biggest Oranda I've ever had.
