Alright. Posting here since I have more tropicals than goldfish.

In 3 months, I'll be moving out to a condo my parents own and rent out. (Free until I get a job, lol) Its about two hours away (maybe 3) and I'm worried about my fish. I have about 50 or 60 tropical fish (including fry) and most likely another 100 on the way krazy.gif Also, I have two fancy goldfish.

I have 3 10 gallon tanks right now, 2 of which are in use (goldfish and fry) and a 5 gallon and a 2.5 gallon. (and a 1 gallon if I decide to take a beta) How can I transport these guys? Should I just lower their water half way and drive them down that way?

Also, I have a 20 gallon tank at the condo (currently incrusted with Love Bugs due to being transported in the back of a pick-up) Should I bring some old filters from the goldfish tank and start that one up? I think 3 months will be enough to get it cycled once I figure out where I'm putting it.

I'll be in classes 3 days a week, so I'm not too concerned about them while I'm at school. No auto feeders or weekend feeders needed, thank goodness.

I believe there is a thread pinned in the goldfish discussion forum about how to move with your fish.

Lovebugs, its been sooo long since I've seen those. smile.gif They are sorta funny to watch.

I think it would be best for your goldfish if you bring some old filters or once you get a job go ahead and buy some new filters and then make your goldfish home the 20 gallon! I think they would love you more for that.
