Well...Maybe "Missus" I still can't tell.

My black moor has become a floater. Not majorly so, I just noticed that it's struggling more than normal to swim downwards, then when it stops swimming, it starts to rise. So far it's not on either side, or upsidedown. It just can't stay down for more than 10 seconds when it wants to graze on the bottom.

Now, what's the trick? Fasting and a few peas? It's about 4 inches + tail, so is there a certain amount of peas per inch or something? I'll have to put a divider in, because Spook LOVES peas.

Yeah, try feeding him the peas, make sure you always soak his food before giving it to him.

Alright. I'll have to buy some frozen peas then. I just checked and we didn't have any.

I'm so afraid that I'm going to wake up tomorrow, and it'll be dead cry3.gif I've been wanting to bring these two with me when I move, since I recently got a 20 gallon tank for $5, but it's at my apartment right now. They just have to hold out until August...

Good news! Ant had one god awful huge poop after two days of not eating, and now seems to be swimming normally.

I never thought to soak the food, because by the time they found it, it was pretty soggy already. One advantage to bug eyes biggrin.gif But from now on, I have a little shot glass I can soak a measure of food in before giving it to them.

Oh, and I had to do a quick substitution, mom forgot to pick up peas, so I used some lettuce after zapping it in the microwave to make it limp.
