hey its me,
i have a tank with rainbow tetras in it and they are with a unsafe fish. I would like to move them to another tank with 2 neon tetras (one is fully grown, the other one is almost fully grown) My parents dont care which fish they put together so they have a 10 gallon tank with a pleco, 3 rainbow tetras, and a green severum chichilid and that chichilid ate the head off one of my favourite platy's that my parents wouldnt let me move to another tank. Previous he was chasing him in the tank and now he is chasing the others. Plz help Quick!

Your neons won't be safe with the cichlid OR the pleco. Eventually they will be eaten or just killed. Unfortunately, you have to be very select about tankmates for smaller tetras as they will usually end up as prey for all but the most docile (and small) fish. Angelfish (a type of cichlid) naturally prey on tetras; the will eat your neons regardless of how well-fed you keep your fish. Bigger plecos will eat all smaller fish as well. I suggest you find a small tank (even 5 g would be okay for now) for all your tetras and more plattys if you like. just keep the larger and/or more aggressive fish out.

my question was can rainbow tetras go with neons!

I'm sorry. No need to get angry... I simply misunderstood your question. Yes, the two should get along just fine.

BTW, if you're going to get all bent about people not answering your questions "properly," perhaps you should examine the way you pose your questions. A clear, concise post that has been run through a grammar check is far more likely to receive an appropriate answer than a post that rambles and leaves the readers in doubt as to what the actual question is. This holds true not only on message boards, but in the real world.
