I likethe blue biggrin.gif The fish look very happy racing round in that. It looks like he has fixed the upper tank in on stones- somehow? I don't understand the water suspension either...whats he doing with the net?
I'd like an explanation of that very unique set-up. Thanks for sharing it smile.gif
Chickey
enquiring minds want to know.....How did he do it? Does anyone know?
Sushi67
He is feeding the fish with the net. I believe the water stays suspended through natural suction. Like when you turn a jar upside down in a sink and pull it up. Thats just my guess.

The question is, how does he turn a "120-litre jar" upside down?? biggrin.gif

true, but he has an airstone in there. there would need to be a hole at the top... but then how does the water stay?
TetraLover
Very carefully?

Maybe he uses a hose to fill it.

We are all lost. Maybe its some super big secret. lol. photo.gif

smile.gif I had to keep watching the video! The combination of the unique tank plus the music and the fish dancing around to the music had my full attention. Has anyone emailed this person to see how it was all done? Its beautiful!

smile.gif Yesterday I emailed the person who has this video on Youtube and told him how beautiful and unique his tank is and asked how he did it! I got a reply this morning, This is what he said,

"Thank you for your interest in my fishtank. A suction pump is used to bring up the water level in the tank. Where is your hometown. If you are residing in Singapore, you can come to my showroom to have a better view. "

I wish I was planning a quick trip to Singapore to see not only this tank but what sounds like more!

That's fascinating vmlola!! Thanks for e-mailing him. Now of course it all makes sense - but sheesh I hope he has something worked out during power outages, I wouldn't like to be around to see the reverse flow sad.gif
Singapore ? biggrin.gif ! That's nearer me but still too far.

Ah, didn't realize you were talking about a video on the side. It may look over stocked but anyone who is willing to bust out the money for a red/gold arowana(I've seen them go for $5000+) knows what they are doing. I'm sure there are elements to the tank or a side story we aren't aware of. Most monster fish keepers know what they are doing and since that tank and those fish look extremely healthy, I wouldn't worry.

EDIT:

Forgot to mention if its this tank LINK, then no, its not salt water.

very cool, thanks for sharing
