Full Version: Ryukin W/ Red Dot Spot On Tail

the ryukin had red edges on its tail for the past month and i believe it was caused from too much prime in the water. the red edges are now all gone, but there is one red dot spot on its tail now. what could it be? anchor worm? but i do not see a tail on the red spot.

Hi, can you post the information at the top? Could it be a tumor?

do you think its a tumor? my water quality is perfect (includes ph, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate). i've QT the fish from a 55gal community tank to the 20gal tank. the 20gal tank is now running a penguin 350 power filter. i do water changes every 3 days, hoping that red blood spot would disappear. the small ryukin is also in with a large oranda and is being treated with hole-in-wen. i've already dabbed the spot with hydrogen peroxide and the spot seems to reappear days later. any feedbacks???
