My orandas love oranges like no tomorow. I was wondering, can you feed them pear & apple as well? Any other fruits they can have? And I read you can give them lemon & lime, is that true?

Mine looooove lemons - haven't tried lime yet, thanks for the suggestion though. Mine also love strawberries (remove seeds), watermelon, bananas, kiwi... Just remove any seeds and cut into bite sized pieces. Don't feed too much fruit or too often, as it is high in sugar.

Hmm I guess I better go get them some lemons. I will also try the others you suggested and remove the seeds. I guess it sounds like they can have apple and pear. They don't seem to be fussy at all.
I have a veggie clip that works great, less mess. But I will just give them small peaces. I don't like over doing it because it makes a mess out of the water.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Remember that the citrus fruits are acidic - so if you have a tank that does not have a solid buffer (kH), do not feed citrus - or feed it VERY sparingly....
I usually put the fruits into gel food. They are sooooo messy to feed otherwise. I guess I am too lazy to clean all that out!
