Well, I got an email today from our club organizer that our local show this January (weekend of 17./18., if I remember right) is gonna be bigger than planned. For some rason there were problems with the All Japan show, and they cancelled that. So, now our show is the first show in the new year after the big fall harvest in Japan, and a lot of additional vendors seem to have signed up to bring their koi to the show for showing and selling!!

I am trying too save up as much cash as I can for the orlando show if you know what I mean so I will have too pass.
Also the reason the All Japan show was cancelled was because of KHV. As far as I know right now they have never found it in ornamental koi but there were huge outbreaks in magoi which they use as food. I guess the japanese are just playing it safe.

Yeah, I guess so. I didnt know the reason for the cancellation, I just figured, since its a huge show, it must have been something serious to go ahead and cancel the entire thing....
Well, I will be there, to help setup and stuff, but more for the goldies than the koi. I like watching the judge go around and make his selection. We are planning on getting our new koi in March as well, so I don't think we are gonna spend much fish wise this month...
Was trying to talk John Cheung, a local koi and goldie dealer, to bring some goldies to the show this year. He usually only brings koi, but with any luck he has some goldies in between. I have bought some nice beauties from him over the years, and he gets a new shipment in next week.....Guess who is gonna be there the moment he unpacks them?

I would like some pictures if you can provide them. If you can make sure you get some pics of the grand champ(both goldie and koi).

Of course I take pictures!! I always do!! I even bought a bigger memory card just to accomodate the amount of pictures I planned on taking at the Orlando show last year....
