Any suggestions? Last year it cleared up so fast. I haven't been able to put Water Lettuce or Hyacinths out there yet (too cold still) do you think once I add them the pond will clear up? I have Parrot Feather and some other hardy plants out there but it is still really murky and is driving me nuts.

You answered your own question. Its still to cold. Just have patience it should clear up if you have a good filtration system running.

What is your water temperature? Add some barley extract to your pond if temperature is consistently over 50 degrees (F). I have had very good result with barley extracts.

It's not that cold. The pond temp is 60 and it cleared up fine last year at the same time of year and temp. My water hyacinths are supposed to be here tomorrow so hopefully they'll help clear it up.

Water temp is 60. I have never had good results with barley so I guess I'll just see if the floating tropicals help at all.

Yes, the tropicals will definitely help. I have several water hyacinth and water lilies in the pond. They are just starting to spread and I am sure helping out a lot with the clarity. But barley extract already did the trick even before I introduced the water hyacinth. Ofcourse, your mileage will vary :-)
