After all those months of waiting, i finally got a pond! YAYYY!!! It turns out that it only holds about 720 gal though. i remember it being so much bigger before it got turned into a flower bed. headscratch.gif oh well

Yamaha finaly got his pond though. Wing, Crokett, Tangie(new common), and himself are the only ones currently in there. Buffalo have fin rot so no pond for him yet.

My dad bought 10 little commons from the petsmart the a couple weeks ago because he think the pond will look a little bare. there's only 7 or 8 left though. I didnt even want them! i want the extra room for the koi, not for MORE fish! this is where Tangie came from. now im stuck with them. glare.gif

Any ways, here are the pics

smile.gif Congrats, the pond is looking good. For the size that it turned out to be though, you are actually better off with the least koi possible as they need upwards of 250 gallons and more as they grow to their adult size.
Comets too are beautiful fish, and look wonderful swimming in a pond.Nice pics by the way.
What kind of filter have you added to it?

I really like the design of your pond and I'm sure that your fish will enjoy having that big new house. It's amazing how quickly that they grow outside.

Watching a pond is very relaxing and it's a whole new perspective on how the fish appear. ENJOY!!

Best,

That's beautiful! Very classic It would look gorgeous with a little fountain in the middle or one of those statues of a Roman goddess with water flowing down from a vase! biggrin.gif

devs, i just added a filter today, a diy filter for now. its a tall round white container and i added some sponges. i couldnt get a proper filter yet because the whole family is going on vacation for a month and a half.

sorry to say, but there will be no electricity and no one can feed the fish. sad.gif but i have seen a lot of small grayish worms in the pond though. i hope they will all pull through. but after i return, i am planing to buy them a pressurize filter.
