Heres the Blue Crown Tail. His top fin is apparently the genetically defective one. He will occasionally raise it but for the most part he lets it hang down. I'm not concerned though, I didnt get him for his genetic purity, I just thought he was too nice a fish to be kept in those little cups. Hes in my 10G planted right now and doing well. He took to eating right away and knows when i flip the top, its feeding time.

The other is still in a bowl and is coming around but is still very skiddish. He is eating now though and is getting used to me coming around.

sad.gif I couldn't see the pics of your new betta... I think it's because I'm not a member of 'myspace'.. -Do you have a photobucket account to post pics, I think they can be viewed by anyone. smile.gif

Thanks all. He has sterilized the tank though. There isnt a snail to be found anywhere. No wonder he looks so happy in there.

On a side note, does anyone have any experience with the 5 gallon corner tanks? Says it has a bio-wheel in the hood and I was thinking of getting a couple for a dead corner in my living room. Ive heard that its not good to have beta's in tall tanks as its hard for them to get to the top and breath sometimes. Any truth to this?
