Ok, i know this is in the wrong area, but nobody ever goes on the betta section. I just got a new betta from a LFS 2 days ago, and I don't know what to name him. I'll describe him. He is a beautiful, yellow, full halfmoon with crystal blue eyes and long, flowing fins ( and he was only $7.00!). His eyes made him stand out from the other bettas, but another feature that made him stand out was a big, black stripe right down the middle of his tail. So, any ideas of a name? I will try to get pics soon.

Congratz on your new fish but you should really try posting in the betta section. That's what it's there for. It's not that people don't go there much it's that people don't make as much threads about bettas as other things.

Congrats on your new betta. And as far as people not coming to the betta section, I think if you look at all the posts you will see quite a few people come to this section and post. It has been more active lately. That sounds like a gorgous fish. How about Stripe for a name? I have a yellow betta hm myself. you also could name him Kien which is honor in Thai

I like Kien. Maybe i should do a poll about what to name him. Kien and Stripe will probably be one of the names. I was also thinking Buzz or Bumble, since he's black and yellow like a bee.

Ok, my favorite names that I've found so far are Bait, Limpet, Macaroni, Shredder, Jazz, Marley, and Stripes.
