wow, i havent been on here in a year and a half. good to be back. ok, so i have one cichlid in a 55 gallon tank and im getting sick of just having one fish in there. ive had a couple other cichlids, but he ate them cause hes very territorial. so i just had an idea... what if i got like 5 or 6 new cichlids at the same time and put them in there with him? at pet stores they have a bunch of them in a tank together and usually dont have a problem, so do you think they would all kill eachother? of course i would be sure to rearrange the tank when i put them all in there so that my cichlid i have now wont be so territorial. what do you think? or i could just eat him.

what kind of cichlid is it? is it a new world (central and south america) or one of the african cichlids and if its african which river is it from when you know these then you can plan tank mates. Saying you have a cichlid is kind of like saying you have a fish lol. If you dont know the name you could try finding it on www.aquahobby.com ^^
hope it helps
