Do you think that those would work as a combo of goldfish? Is there anything to worry about with this combo?

Edit: Oops, I put this in the wrong section. I'm sorry.

MAny people have great success keeping these three fish together.Alot really depends on making sure that your tank will be big enough to house all three as they grow bigger.
Rykins have a sort of reputation for being bullies, but I know quite a few people who keep them in a mixed tank without any problems. smile.gif
I personally don't have any Ryukins,as we speak, for the 2 that I bought in the past, did have a problem with being a bit too aggressive in my tank, and I chose to play it safe.
Moors are known for poor eye sight, and some people keep them in their own tank, but I've never had issues with that.My Moors always did well in a mixed tank, and semed to find enough food to keep them happy. biggrin.gif .

Hmmmm so ryukins may be aggressive? I think I may keep it safe and go with a nice fantail or another oranda/telescope lol.

The moore/telescope may have a hard time due to the fact that his vision is impaired. You'll have to watch and make sure that he eats enough.

actually I think ryukins tend to get belligerent if only kept singly or in pairs. I've always had newly-purchased ryukins with several fish in batches and I've never observed aggressive behavior display.

either that or I'm just lucky in choosing fish at the LFS

I currently have a fantail, 3 Ryukins and an Oranda together and have for a while. I had a Black Moor in there, too, but had to move her to a different tank because the breeding behavior was getting pretty bad. Plus, I have no room left for more babies! So, aside from the breeding behavior, I didn't have any problems keeping them together.

Now, my new Ryukin has been showing a bit of 'bully' behavior the past week or so. He's new (I've only had him a little over a month) and a good bit bigger than my others. He only bullies at feeding time, though. Keeps pushing the other fish away from the food. He's such a piggy! biggrin.gif

I currently have Ryunkins, Orandas, PearlScales, and LionHead. LionHead and PearScale are slower than oranda and ryukin. However, I don't have any problem during the feeding time because I have used the "Feeding Dish" method from Obsidian on "Tip of The Month" to feed all my fishes.
You can find this method at the link below.

I currently have three dishes on the bottom of the tank.
I always feed the fastest fishes first. When their mouths are full of food, they don't bother the slower ones' dishes.

This way, all slower fishes get enough to eat.

I don't have any blackmoor in my tank so that I don't know you can mix with oranda and ryukin or not. I heard that blackmoors are very slow. However, you can train your blackmoors to eat on the separate dish.

My fishes do not fight. They are very peaceful. exactly.gif
