live ones for the win, of course. Although frozen isn't all that bad...

live bloodworms are just so much more appealing to the fish with their wriggling, not to mention they're STILL RED and not brownish smile.gif

then again, live bloodworms could possibly carry pathogens. complicated, no?

yes i no it is a bit like that the live ones move around and are alot more interesting to the goldies but then again the frozen ones are safer and are less likely to carry disease lets just wait and see what other people's prefeences are more interesting 2 no what other people prefer.

If there are any possibilities of illness, I would avoid the live ones at all costs! It's just not worth it - goldies love the frozen ones, wiggly or not.

If you have gravel in your tank I would avoid the live ones as they will burrow in it as soon as they hit the bottom of the tank. This adds more waste to your bioload. I have fed both in the past but don't like the idea of worms living in my tank gravel. I have now switched to frozen.

I use the freeze dried bloodworms as a snack for my fishies and they love it and a plus is there is no wriggling worms all over the place! exactly.gif

ive used frozen and freeze dried. i like the frozen ones better because they contain alot less air. the freeze dried ones seemed to make my fish a bit floaty

Good quality freeze dried Bloodworms are fine too, I also use gelled ones too and the goldies love them that way smile.gif

I use freeze dried but I soak them first so they arent so "light". smile.gif
