I've become addicted to goldfish and I don't have much more room inside for a big new tank, so I was think that I could put a pond in my yard. I read that because I want to keep goldfish or koi in it that I need 1,000 gallons, is that true? How do I get started building my pond? I think that I should also add that I live in Michigan since I think that that may change how I need to build it (I don't know). How do I choose where to put the pond. HELP!

if you want a pond for koi, each koi needs 250 gallons of water, so depending on how many koi you want. put your pond near an outlet so you can plug in the filter. anything else just ask, i hope this isint too late, i see you posted this april, but it was commented oon yesterday..........
