heres my 125gallon water feature. next spring were going to be upgrading to a 300gallon. im still working on planting my plants around it. i have elephant ear bulbs planted all around it. im adding bacteria once a week and i have green water, the plants you see are cattails, and theres lillies on the bottom making their way to surface. there are a few elephant ears growing in water also that came back this spring. enjoy pics!

just to give ya an idea on size of pond its 5' X 6' 125 gallon. the 300 gallon were getting is a large rubbermaid thats 8'around its pretty big. i think were going to bury the rubbermaid and hook up the water fall to it with our pump. smile.gif

thanks guys! the pond has been up and running since february this yr. my water has turned green which is to be expected.lol with our other pond during the winter it turned crystal clear after the 1st frost. im sure this one will do the same smile.gif as far as the oranda goes hes not acting weird anymore, hes eating on his own and the shubunkins and comets are letting him eat. though the oranda did eat a spider this morning blink.gif lol extra protein i guess! as soon as all my colorful caladiums come up and reach good height ill snap a few more pixs.

Use the 125 gallon as a spill away down into the bigger one....you could use it as a top tier or even a bog filter!

well the reason i got it so cheap was because the store was not going to carry them anymore they had 3 left but i just got the one. the filter ive had for 3 yrs now i bought it with my other pond i had (90 gallon) i like the premade ponds but you do run a risk with them cracking. the new pond thats going in will be made from a very heavy liner from a pond store in my town.
