im a new member here, and im sorry to say i didnt do my reaserch before buying a couple of babies i fell in love with. i was at the store and they just looked so sad with an overstoked tank i took them home. (they have been residing in a 2 gallon tank right now(frequent water changes) and next week i get my bigger aquarium now that i know they arent as easy a fish as i was led to believe. their names are Sushi and Wasabi, and i know Wasabi is a black moor but what is Sushi? without further ado, i give you Sushi and Wasabi. IPB Image (you can also see my betta Angel in the background, lol.)

I would say a calico fantail. Calico is probably one of my favorite colors. I have always had at least one calico colored goldie.

Welcome! What beautiful fish. heartpump.gif When you get a bigger tank for your goldies you can move Angel to their tank! biggrin.gif

goldies and bettas together?

No I don't think they ment goldies and betta's together. What they were saying was that once you get a bigger tank for your goldies you can put you beta in the 2 gallon tank. But it looks to me like your beta is already in a 2 gallon tank.

its actually a one gallon, but the 2 gallon was his home before the goldies. unfortuantly i woke up ths morning and he was gone, i think he either got stuck under somethign and drowned or he got stuck and panicked and his neck broke. ive been crying all day today. please please, if yu have ornements in your tank, make sure your babies cant get stuck under them!

I used to have a plastic plant that was kind of like grass. One day I turned on my aquarium light and there was my angel fish, caught in it dead. Poor thing, I felt really bad. sad.gif
