i am wondering how to reseal a tank with sealent. so do i buy a box cutter and cut up the sealent and then reseal it.
and it has a crack in the black boarder part of the tank should i be woried about that too.
so please help many thanks

just wondering, but is the tank leaking or something? I wouldnt worry about the crack in the boarder, unless it is on the bottom.

If you've got an empty dry tank, you can just use sealant over the original seal (obviouly making sure the sealant gets in around the old stuff) Just make sure it's the right type of sealant (there are a lot out there that are not compatible for aquarium use), it'll usually state on the side of the packet what it's uses are. And when the sealant is dry rinse your tank out very thoroughly a few times...

ok thanks everybody the crack is on the frame of the tank i might just seal it up. and there is no leaks (i hope so) well i guess i will buy some aquarium sealent this weekend yes
