smile.gif Almost had a heart attack last night when I looked at Steven's tank! He lives in a 10 gal tank with his snails and some decor that he loves, although he hates the snails. rofl3.gif Anyhow, I looked close and there was a five inch crack on the front side down near the bottom. A mess waiting to happen. His tank sits on the counter in the kitchen and all I can think is maybe a bag of groceries was pushed up against it, but who knows. But it is one of those cheapie 10 gal tank sets and the glass seems super thin.

I went out today and found this new home for him. It was opened, probably a return, and the clerk thought maybe the light did not work, but I liked the shape, as it will take up less counter space as its taller then long( now we can fit a nice 30 gal Goldfish tankwith the extra room) and the fact that it was close in size to his 10 gal, its 9 gal and on the clearence shelf for $19.50, I grabbed it. And the light does work. YAY!

I set it up and will let it sit for a few days hoping the other tank holds out. I used some of the plants and decor from his existing tank.

In this first pic I had slid the 10 gal sideways to make room and you can Steven in the 10 gal checking out the "New Condo" he'll be moving into!

Wow, that is an AWESOME tank! I love the shape. Lucky Steven! biggrin.gif Ive had SO many 10 gallon tanks get cracks! They start slowly leaking and it takes me awhile to see where it is coming from. rolleyes.gif

crazy indeed. I've seen similar size tanks here with pics of 4 or 5 smallish fish in them on the front of the box- that is so bad an advertisement!

I love the light effect going down the center of Steven's new home- that is so cool- I use to have a clock with kind of pillar columns at the side that had a light like that and the inside was filled with a rainbow color gel- I loved it- reminds me of it. And a round set up is just so attractive smile.gif
