Either sunday or monday i noticed my betta had three white dots on him like someone took a white pen and placed 3 dots (nothing looking like salt grains) on him and he stayed in a corner on the bottom a little more then normal. so i did a water change and added salt (its a 1 gallon tank i do weekly 100% water change) and now there no dots but hes still at the bottom corner more then normal it looked like he had fungus on his gills but theres nothing there today i cant get any meds til sunday so should i just keep giving him the salt the only thing i have is some mardel marycly -2 tablets and some melafix

I would continue with the salt and try some Bettafix ( betta sized dose of melafix) . Is he eating? that is usually another sign he is not feeling well as is sitting on the bottom a lot. I would keep his water pristine and use the salt and bettafix/melafix .

you will have to check the label. I believe you will need to use an eyedropper. That is why i prefer the bettafix. It is at a dose already measured out for bettas ( less concentrated)

actually you can use melafix that whole time. It is the same thing as betafix. betafix is just a watered down version in the proper dose for bettas. If you are good at math you should be able to figure out how much to put in. I used it before with an eyedropper But I can not remember the dosage without looking at the label

last nite angel was fine blowing bubble nest etc got up and it looked like salt all over him ich so i did a 100 % water change addes 2 tsp of salt and 1 drop of quick cure and covered him up the only problem is i cant raise the temp of his water its 1 gallon tank i normally use his light to keep water warm but when treating for ich need to keep light off could i use a heating pad on low to heat his water

I hate to say this but he needs to be in a bigger container so you can heat it. heat is essential in helping kill the ick

the bigger tank sounds better that way you can heat it safely. You need a heater that will get to 80 while the ick treatment is going on. You probably should treat it for a couple weeks.
