I've been looking around for a tank, around 24" long x 10"tall x 10"deep with four removable dividers for bettas. I've inquired about having a tank custom made and have gotten quotes of almost $80.00! So I thought I'd make it myself and have the glass cut at a glass company, and the glass alone would cost me $50.00! Are there any companies that make divided betta tanks of a decent size that can accomodate lighting and filtration? The divided ones I've seen so far barely give enough room for a betta to turn around in! I've thought of using a breeder type tank and put in the dividers you can buy at the lfs but I find the bettas somehow manage to slip around them no matter how securely I attach them. Anybody have any suggestions or know of a company that makes tanks like these?

You could purchase those plastic tank dividers. This will allow water flow through all of the compartments and are a lot cheaper! Those sheets of plastic canvas also work and you can cut them to the length you want. smile.gif Ive heard of people securing them with suction cups.

I tried the tank divider route. Even with suction cups and clips they still manage to slip through somehow! sad.gif

Hmm.. How about plexi-glass instead of glass? You could drill small holes all over them for water flow.
