Some of you may know that I keep an 8 gallon tank for 4 little goldfish. Well I've been doing some measuring and it looks as though I can comfortably fit a 60 gallon tank in my room with space to spare! Joy!

Tis a blooming shame that the one I've seen is £519 cry3.gif Does anyone have any idea where I can get a 60 gallon tank in the UK? I don't need any free rocks or plants etc, as I plan to add these myself.

Thanks.

Clear Seal tanks are relitavley cheap, just a plain glass aquarium, no extras. a 36 x 24 x 18 (8mm glass) which is 56.06 UK Gallons (67.32, US Gallons) is £170 or you can have 48 x 24 x 18 (8mm glass)
which is 74.75 UK Gallons (89.77 US Gallons) for £209. they do do bigger ones, but they dont include filters or anything, and i think you have to buy the hood seperate.

Fluval Duo Deep 1200 works out at about 57 Gallons, but costs £330, but includes extras.
Juwel Rio 240 aquarium and cabinet is £350 with extras (£270 without cabinet)

hope this helps

I know these may not be around your area but you can take a look around eBay and see if anyone near you is selling biggrin.gif

Aw those were pretty! Shame it'd take me a few weeks to catch buses to Oz sad.gif lol. Thanks for your help guys. I'd prefer one that came with a hood, because I think they look better presented with a nice lid on them. I shall keep looking and keep you posted!

They're not in Australia - I went to eBay UK smile.gif

Oh right! It's just web address went to ebay.com.au... perhaps it re-directs automatically?

Lol - it's because I opened ebay australia and typed uk in my search for tanks so it still goes through .com.au smile.gif

Ohhhh I see *smacks head* hehe smile.gif

I went to my local fishkeeper chappie today and a 20g tank, stand and lights would cost me about £120, so that's good enough for me. The only trouble is, it's a long and thin tank, wheras I need more of a short 'n' stubby tank, because whilst i have room, I don't have room for a LONG tank.
