Hi its come to that time when you think, i want to upgrade my tank!

Ive hit the net and visited my lfs but havent got what im looking for, i want a tank about 60 -70 gallons (has to be 4foot in length), can you please give me brands that sell them at this size.

Please can you let me know any shops that are selling offers, i really am grateful if someone can help me im quite hopeless at research! lol. I will look myself too but want someone to point me in the right direction of brands etc.

Rena are too expensive, any other brands you reccommend for me, i'll be keeping goldies (fancy breeds)

Oh and im in the UK so wouldnt be able to get a usa company to ship them i dont think.. so has to be a uk company id say

Most aquarium sizes have very similar dimensions.

I'm not sure about a 60 or a 70, but most 65-gallons will be about three feet long and 75-gallons will be about 4 feet long.
I've never gone aquarium shopping in the UK, so I can't really recommend anything.

Heh, affordability is the hardest part of getting the right tank. The best thing to do is to check out local garage sales and the classifieds in the newspaper or online. Many would-be fishowners buy all the expensive stuff, realize they're really not into the hobby, and try to get rid of it as soon as they can.

The stores above also seem to stock some of the lesser-known ( sometimes cheaper) brands of tank too (other than just the usual Fluval, Jewel and Rena available in the UK), so worth looking at for ideas.

Where abouts in the UK are you? Have a look here to see if you have a "Maidenhead Aquatics" branch anywhere near you. They have stores all around the country. You can choose from their showrooms and they will deliver it to your home for free in most cases. I've bought aqauriums from these guys before with no problems.
