It has been a while since I have been on this board. Mainly because the new house did not have a pond. Moreover the backyard is totally concret and kind a depressing. Anyway, there was a rectangular flower bed, pretty decent size. We decided to turn it into a pond type thingy. My wife was highly sceptical of the project. Until the very end she thought it was going to be a disaster. But after few months of TLC, it is slowly becoming something that we both like. Here are couple of picures. Enjoy !

Thanks
Mir

Thanks guys, the pond is about 4 feet deep about 10 feet long and abut 4 feet wide so that calculates to about 1200 gallons? I have few kois in there now. But after I put in some plants I have been experiencing algae blooms. So hopefully once it clears up a bit (using algae destroyer) I will put up some picure of the fishes. They are still very shy and do not come out when I am close to the pond.

Couple of more pictures. This time I gave some food and went away from the pond. Turned the pond pump off and took the picture from comfort of upstairs bedroom. :-)
