I would like to ask if it is possible for a Black Butterfly Telescope to loose some of its black to form a Panda Butterfly Telescope? Because a few months ago I purchased 2 3inch size Black Butterfly Telescope from my Local Aquarium and one of them decided to lose some of its black to become a Panda Butterfly Telescope.

My tank setup is a 4X2X2 tank, using a fluval 405 external filter. The sizes of the tank has been covered with algae and can be only be viewed from the top of the tank. I have noticed all colours on my fish are very sharp. I allowed the algae to grow so it will act like as if its a pond. The tank also got a heap of Crested Java Fern and Anacharis.

It's very possible. Goldfish can frequently change colours and black is one of the most unstable, so Black butterfly to Panda is totally possible, and we've witnessed it here at kokos quite a few times smile.gif

biggrin.gif I've got a black oranda that I'm hoping will turn a nice shade of panda in the next few months.

Take pictures of your newly-panda'd goldy, I want to see~heartpump.gif

Mango, don't be surprised if your black butterfly goes to panda and then continues on to pure white, orange, other... Black doesn't often stick around. I'm sure it will beautiful whatever color it decides on. smile.gif
