Anyone know if you can just buy the top blue part for replacement? The threads for mine have all worn out and I am sure the things only worth the 50 cents. I went to the petstore and they only had the whole blue unit. Cost 7 bucks but I hate to waste money. If they really sell the blue part I will call around and return the whole blue unit.
The top part only lasted about 20 water changes. Cheap plastic <_<

You could call the manufacturer and ask. They'd be able to tell you what replacement parts are available. If I remember correctly, the whole thing is patented, so I'm not sure if other places would just carry a part that would fit.

Petsmart carries a lot of the replacement parts. I know I have gotten the adapters there.

It's not really patented, Lee's makes the exact same thing and it's a little cheaper. Wish I found it out before I bought my python.

Dr Foster and Smith carries most Python replacement parts. I was just looking through that catalog today.

I have the 25 foot Python and it came with an order form from the company for replacement parts in metal. They were fairly reasonable and I also got a brass adaptor to slip over my faucet. No more stripped threads. Do a web search for the companies website and you can order from there as well. Python Products Inc.

I'm having a hard time finding a good picture of it......Big Als has a picture of a different brass adaptor that i dont think is as good. My adaptor was hanging in a small plastic bag in PetSmart with the black "No Spill" label and on the top of the label it says "Replacement Part 69-HD Brass Adaptor". You can also order it online from the Python site but i dont know if that would be worth it when you add in the shipping charge. Another option could be to take the whole blue piece to Home Depot and see if you can find a good adaptor for it for less money.
