At Petssmart of all places! Since I moved here 3 months ago, I haven't seen one decent fish there, so finding 2 true lemonhead orandas there was quite a surprise. Actually, there was another one, but he developed already a little red spot on his belly, and the lemonheads I like are all white with just the yellow wen.
So, home I came with 2 little babies, barely making the 2 inch mark. They have quite a lot of missing scales on their sides, but they are happy and perky. I now need to find my scope to see if anything on them, but I so far refused successfully to unpack the last 15 or so boxes from the move. rofl2.gif

I try to take some pictures tomorrow, but that isn't so easy. They are on the bottom of a double stand, so I have to literally take the pictures laying on the floor. But I try, I promise.

Gee - I was all set to post up here - taunting poor Laurie, too!!!! wink.gif rolleyes.gif

Those babies are a real find! I hope they grow into their potential for you. I know Laurie will find the right fish when the time comes. Fish seem to "appear", when truly needed, one way or another. Yours will too, Laurie. heartpump.gif

Taking pictures while on your stomach is dangerous. When I do that, I usually end up with two kittens (well, hardly kittens anymore!) jumping up and down on my back, chewing on my hair, walking up right in front of me and sticking their noses in the lens, catching the lens cap string and climbing up over my shoulders. That is especially condusive to nice clear fish pictures - I can assure you!!!!

I look forward to pics!!!! smile.gif

jtmuch.gif I can see it now, Daryl - and I can just imagine Toulouse doing that. FIts him right to the dot! biggrin.gif

Laurie, they are just like Milo's - all white, and the yellow head. They do have however a ton of missing scales, which hopefully is just from the transport to the store. I'd hate to suspect the other possibility....

Andrea great to c u again smile.gif
and congrats on the new fish...I want to see pics!!!!!!

On my list of FTG (fish to get) I still have a rykin, (got my eye on one now but need another tank) and lemon heads, id like a lemonhead lionhead especially or an oranda would be fine as I seem to be collecting them LOL
and I still want my panda!!!

Cant wait to see how yours are. I am sure in your perfect care all the scales will be fine and they will be happy smile.gif
